Camino Krk is part of the world-famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage network, which leads to the tomb of St. James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. This special route on the island of Krk is about 150 kilometers long and is designed as a circular trail that begins and ends in the town of Krk.
Camino Krk guides pilgrims and travelers through the island’s stunning landscapes - from coastal towns to inland hills, olive groves, dry stone walls, and ancient monasteries. The path passes through significant cultural, historical, and spiritual sites such as Košljun, Vrbnik, Omišalj, Baška, and others, offering a unique experience of silence, meditation, and connection with nature.
The route is clearly marked with the recognizable symbol of the scallop shell of St. James, and each pilgrim can obtain their own pilgrim passport (credencial), collect stamps at various stations, and receive a certificate upon completing the journey.
